WV House Democrats introduced #HB2814, “The Election Security, Accessibility and Modernization Act of 2021” on the floor yesterday.
This bill allows no-excuse absentee voting and would require absentee ballots be mailed to all active voters in West Virginia. It also simplifies requirements for requesting emergency absentee ballots and allows for ballot drop off boxes. Extends Early Voting period House Bill 2814 improves both voter access and election security.You can watch yesterday’s press conference about the bill here
