Each of West Virginia’s 55 counties also has a county committee.  County committees are a vital part of West Virginia’s Democratic Party. Regular meetings of interested citizens are conducted on issues, candidates, and fundraising. If you care about the direction of the Party, getting involved in your county committee’s meetings and work is an excellent place to start.

Of course, there are other groups within the party that may be of interest to you, including the many county chapters of the Federation of Democratic Women and the West Virginia Young Democrats. Follow the links for more information or contact the state party through this website for more information.

To find your local committee or other local groups, visit the County Chairs page.
