Trump Halts Major Coronavirus Relief Package As Americans, West Virginians Continue to Struggle
West Virginia Republicans fall in line
(Charleston, WV) – West Virginians were expecting another round of relief as they struggle with unemployment, healthcare, and feeding their families while the COVID-19 pandemic continues to rise. West Virginia’s Republican leaders fall in line behind President Trump who is putting himself and his corrupt, selfish agenda before the people.
“Complicity equals falling in line, and it’s as simple as that,” said Belinda Biafore, WVDP Chairwoman. “Donald Trump and Republicans are rushing to confirm a Supreme Court nomination before the election that will end the very healthcare system that gave care to hundreds of thousands of West Virginians. Now, they’ve put a stop to coronavirus relief packages these same West Virginians are depending on in another selfish, political move.”
Many West Virginians were depending on another relief packages as they face healthcare uncertainty, unemployment, and providing for their families.
President Donald Trump tweeted this afternoon that he will not negotiate any further for a relief package until “after I win.”
