WVSDEC 2026 Q2 Organizational Meeting
Pursuant to W. Va. Code § 3-1-9 and the WVDP Bylaws, the WVSDEC shall meet and organize within thirty days after the primary election.
The WVSDEC will hold its organizational meeting on June 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM at the WVSSPA Conference Center in Charleston, WV.
The meeting will include the election of: Chair; First and Second Vice Chairs; two Associate Chairs (1 male, 1 female); Congressional District Vice Chairs (CD1 & CD2, 1 male and 1 female each); Recording Secretary; Associate Secretary; Treasurer; Parliamentarian; three at-large members; and standing committee members. The Committee will also fill vacancies for Male, Senate District 2; Female, Senate District 5; and Female, Senate District 12, and appoint a Male and Female member from Senate District 3 excluding Wood County, and fill any other vacant positions set forth in W. Va. Code § 3-1-9.
